Julie Davies, owner of Julie Davies Flower Workshops, has grown her business, increased her business confidence and reported an amazing 400% increase in pre-tax profits since starting business coaching with me last year. Blooming marvellous!
As this is International Coaching Week I wanted to demonstrate the positive impact that coaching – in this case small business coaching – can have.
Julie is passionate about flowers and is really creative. She runs workshops across Kent to give people the skills and confidence to arrange flowers for their home, business or for a special occasion.
She has taught flower workshops in a variety of distinctive “pop up” locations including Macknade Fine Foods, Posillipo Ristorante Italiano in Faversham and many other locations in Kent. One to one sessions, DIY wedding workshops and host-at-home flower workshops are her speciality. She also teaches Floristry at Kent Adult Education centres.
Julie invested in business coaching to help her make some key decisions about how to grow her business. We explored her different workshop options, examined her prices, finances and forecasting and set a new business and marketing plan in motion that has resulted in a 400% increase in pre-tax profit so far!
Julie is currently working on her next phase of business planning (you can read about that in her blog) and is creating a new way of sharing and teaching her floristry skills to expand the scope of her business.
